This race features the Meadowbank Dam loop starting at Bushy Park.

This course has a long history in cycling in Southern Tasmania and is back this year for the first time in 5 years.

Part of this loop features in the Tour de Norfy, was a stage of Southern Valleys Tour and featured in the Tour of the Derwent Valley in years gone by.

 

20 pre-registered riders will be required for the race to proceed. 

 

Race Details:

Course: 

Starting at Bushy Park, ride through Macquarie Plans and turn onto the Lyell Highway A10.

The course proceeds through Gretna and Hamilton and then crosses Meadowbank Dam then onto one of two significant climbs.

Then through Ellendale, Fentonbury Westerway, Glenora and back to Bushy Park.

Getting There

From Hobart, Take the Lyell Highway from the roundabout at Granton and follow this until you enter the township of New Norfolk.

Follow the signs to Bushy Park, turn right at the T-intersection.
