Join us for Measured Madness at Maydena for a MTBA National Cup Round.
Racing is available for juniors, seniors (elite and expert) and masters riders.
All competitors will also enjoy a 3 day trail pass for Maydena Bike Park so you can make a weekend of if it and enjoy access to an extensive range of Maydena’s gravity trails.
Racing will take place on Saturday 4 May 2019.
The team at Maydena Bike Park are planning to provide some new trails for this event. We will provide course details and profile as soon as these are available.

Categories, Laps and Start List
Male, Female categories consist of:
- U13 U15, U17, U19,
- Expert (faster than sport, but not “elite”)
- Elite (19+ years old),
- Masters 1/2 (30-39years),
- Masters 3/4 (40-49years),
- Masters 5/6 (50-59),
- Masters 7+ (60+)
The course will commence on the oval behind the pump track.
From there riders will take a fire road climb to the base of ‘Maydena Hits’ Trail.
The course continues upward before entering the ‘Scandinavia’ trail.
The high point is reached on ‘Scandinavia’ before descending onto ‘Handi Scandi’ then onto ‘South Crescent’
From the base of ‘South Crescent’ rides will then climb the ‘Tyenna’ Trail before desceding onto a shortened ‘Turn Earner’ descent back to the Village and through some technical turns and back to the Start/Finish.
Distance – 3.87 km
Elevation gain – 186 m
Practice and Ride Day – Friday 3 May and Sunday 5 May – competitors will receive a Trail Access Pass for Maydena Bike Park for the day and will be able to practice on the XCO Course.
